Deadlifts- warm up 65x5, 80x5, 95x3
Workout- 110x3, 125x3, 140x3+5
I recorded my working sets and form looks good but I need to work on taking the slack out of the bar before I pull and I’m not sure how to do that?
Assistance- hyper extensions 30x12x5
Hanging leg raises 5x15

Nothing really noteworthy about today’s workout. Get Smart was playing on a couple of the tv’s so that was entertaining.
Benching tomorrow which I always look forward to. :)

Starting my second cycle of Wendler’s 5/3/1 today!!!!!!
Again, I’m going off assumed maxes and I’m hoping this cycle goes as smoothly as my first one.
Best numbers from last cycle were
OHP- 55x7
Deadlift- 140x7
Bench- 95x5
Squat- 130x3


That squat was a post-Liam PR!!! The most I’d put on my back since having Liam was 125 and I barely squatted it for 1 rep 6 months ago.
I’m excited and eager to build my squat back up to what it was before I had Liam and then take it even further. 165 was my best before him but I’m gunning for 200. :)

I had an excellent workout today!!

Heh, when I hit the gym again I’ll be starting with an empty bar.
One good thing about it is it’ll give me a chance to really focus on form.
In the past I’ve realized I was sacrificing form for the sake of numbers and so I’d drop the weight and work on form again but this time round it’s not really about my ego or the numbers, it’s about me and finding that person inside me who pushed me harder and farther than I’d thought possible.
I’m looking forward to getting reacquainted with her.

Got my workout in today.
Did some shoulder exercises and then my 30 minutes walking.
Can’t walk very fast because my ligaments have stretched and make it uncomfortable and what not, plus I have no cardio endurance anymore, so any faster than 3.2 mph is just not possible right now.
But hey, I’ll take what I can get for right now :)

Did some ‘light’ back exercises with the dumbbells I have. I need to invest in  8lbs, 12lbs, and 15lbs dumbbells. I have 5’s, 10’s, and 20’s but a gal needs some in between weights.

It’s ridiculous how much strength I’ve lost but at least I did it.

    Worked up a light sheen and even had to take a shower afterwards so at least I’m heading in the right direction :)

My youngest sister just texted me asking if she could ask some fitness related questions.
Of course I said yes.
When we were done chatting she said thank you and she appreciated my advice and she takes what I say very seriously because no one can dispute my success or endurance.
I LOVE that I get to be a good example for her!!! Or that I was a good enough example for her that months later she trusts what I have to say.
